Trash issue persists

Over the past several months, Slippery Rock residents have been at odds with borough council’s decision to move bulk trash pickup from May to March.
After months of wrangling and council’s failed strategies — which caused more legal fees to be expended — a diagnosis has been confirmed: Slippery Rock Borough suffers from a severe case of anemia, treatable only by a direly needed transfusion.
Donors are needed at the polls on Election Day, Nov. 5, to provided the needed transfusion in the form of votes for these write-in candidates: Mike Devault and Brian Whitby.
To the incumbents, I say thank you for your service. There comes a time when all of us must move on. It’s your time.
