Defend against tyranny
Keith King Butler Township
Hats off to Brent R. McLafferty for hitting the nail on the head in his Jan. 9 letter to the editor, “Guard guns freedom.” He brought forth the facts regarding the necessity for defense against modern tyranny. Finally, someone has put the pieces together between gun control and political slavery. The world needs more people who can sense the unfortunate end via the politically correct agenda. Also, he points out the one-sidedness of our legislators by exposing the purchase of more than 1.6 billion rounds of “assault” ammunition and countless “assault” weapons. Could it really be the government’s motive to secure these weapons from the hands of potential criminals, or instead to extract them from the hands of potential resistance? Personally, I am comforted in knowing there is at least one other person who understands the true reasoning behind our 2nd Amendment.
