D.C. visit praised

We would like to express appreciation to those who organized the bus trip to Washington, D.C., for World War II, Korea and Vietnam veterans.
The American Legion Riders raised money for the trip and businesses provided soft drinks and snacks.
We had lunch at the Capitol, then toured the World War II, Korean, Vietnam and Lincoln memorials and drove past other points of interest.
We had our evening meal in Frederick, Md., before returning home.
The trip was a great experience.
