VA plans health summit
BUTLER TWP — VA Butler Healthcare will host a veterans mental health summit from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
The summit in the main auditorium will focus on health care access and suicide prevention. There also will be breakout sessions related to the opioid crisis, pain management and risk reduction.
“Our goal is to engage in active dialogue on how we as a community can address the mental health care needs of veterans and their families,” said Marcia Schoeffel, VA Butler’s behavioral health executive.
Veterans, their family members, VA employees and volunteers, and residents can attend. For information, call 724-285-2485.
