HOMECOMING COURT

SENECA VALLEY — Seneca Valley students will be celebrating the City of Lights with this year's homecoming theme "Night in Paris." The carnival will be held at 5 p.m., followed by the parade at 7 p.m., on Sept. 26 on the district's secondary campus in Jackson Township.

At the carnival, food booths with nachos, pulled pork sandwiches, apple crisps and more will be available for purchase. Various booster groups will also run game booths such as a bean bag toss, a duck pond and raffles. The parade will feature the Seneca Valley “Roaring” Raider Marching Band, local fire trucks and floats created by student sports teams and organizations.

The evening will conclude with a fireworks display. Seneca Valley's homecoming king and queen will be announced during the Raider Football pregame festivities at 7 p.m. Sept. 27 at NexTier Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m., when Seneca Valley plays North Allegheny.
