Mars High School crowns Homecoming king and queen
Mars Area High School seniors Brian Biaku and Marin Raible were crowned as the school’s 2026 homecoming king and queen during homecoming festivities Oct. 9 and 10.
Other Homecoming Court members were queen candidates Jordan Bender, Katie Blake, Kaya Gillespie, Paige Lauten, Layla Lewandowski, Lila Schrecengost and Jenna Smith; and, king candidates Gus Coffield, Blake Cote, Jameson Dickman, Jameson Garvin, Adam Genevro, Maddox Schumann and Chase Stamper. Honorary court member was exchange student Stefi Baila.
The annual homecoming parade traversed through downtown Mars on Oct. 9, followed by the homecoming football game against the Blackhawk Cougars. Raible was crowned at halftime.
On Oct. 10, high school students attended the 2026 homecoming dance, themed “Rio After Dark,” at Mars Area Middle School. Biaku was crowned at the dance.
