Knoch snapped a four-game losing streak with a 26-0 Allegheny 7 Conference football victory at home over Valley on Friday night.

“I’m thrilled to get a shutout and see our team get back to .500,” Knoch head coach T.J. Wiley said. “I’m happy for our seniors and the community.”

The Knights (4-4) took a 19-0 lead into halftime, scoring on their first two possessions. Max Wiley threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Evan Fink, then scored on a 1-yard run. Wiley connected with Kaeden Myers for a 14-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.

Cameron Lang concluded the scoring with a 14-yard run in the second half. Ethan Rouleau led the Knights with 18 carries for 71 yards, and Wiley completed 9 of 13 passes for 87 yards.

Valley was limited to 161 yards of total offense.

Union-A/C Valley 34, Otto-Eldred 28 (OT) — Parker Bish scored on a 9-yard run after Dawson Hepler picked off an Otto-Eldred pass in overtime to hand the Falcon Knights a walk-off win. The Raiders’ only score came on a hook-and-ladder where Trent Popp caught a pass and flipped it to Josiah Edwards at the 6-yard line for a second-quarter touchdown. Jamen Alwine had eight tackles and two sacks on defense for SV (2-5, 0-5). NA’s Brady Brinkley produced five TDs in three ways — three rushing, one passing and one receiving.

Grove City 41, Slippery Rock 0 — Without quarterback John Petras and running back Aden Shay due to head injuries, the Rockets struggled to get any traction in a loss to their arch rivals. Drake Moore threw a touchdown and ran for another, and Heath Hohman was on the receiving end of two TDs for the Eagles (7-1, 4-1 District 10, Region 4). The Rockets (3-5, 2-3), who have lost four straight games, got 25 rushing yards on seven carries from Dom Mineo, who also went 5 of 12 for 49 yards and three picks passing.
