The event was started by John and Mary Lou Curtis of Curtis Industries with Brent and Steve McLafferty of Fenelton Firearms. Proceeds from the raffle — for which only active duty police were eligible to enter — will benefit the family of the late New Kensington Police Officer Brian Shaw.
