Mallory Fisher , daughter of Floyd and Marsha Fisher of Prospect, has been accepted to Grove City College for the fall 2006 semester. She plans to pursue a degree in psychology.A senior at Slippery Rock High School, she is a member of the cross country and track teams, the National Honor Society, choir, student council and stage crew.She is also active in her church youth group and other church activities.———
<B>Robbie Gould</b>, son of Rick and Marjie Gould of Butler, has been accepted to Edinboro University for the fall 2006 semester. He plans to major in Elementary Education. He also plans to participate in the university's choir.A senior at Butler High School, he is active in Chanticleer.———

Several local students are currently participating in the musical "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" at Clarion University.The cast includes<b>Justin Dandoy</b>, a junior arts and sciences major, son of Robert Dandoy of Butler, and <b>Travis Uhl</b>, a sophomore theater major, son of Frank Uhl of Butler.<b>Sarah Baines-Miller</b>, a senior theatre major, daughter of Constance Miller of Seven Fields, is assisting with properties design.———
Knoch High School senior <b>Arthur Black</b>, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Black of Renfrew, was the winner of the Butler County American Legion Oratorical Contest held recently at the Butler American Legion Post 117.Sponsored by the Saxonburg American Legion Post, his speech was titled "A Forgotten Legacy."Second place was awarded to <b>Matthew Schroeder</b>, a sophomore at Butler Intermediate High School. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Vossler of Center Township, he was sponsored by the Butler American Legion Post 117.Both received cash awards. Black also received entry into the next round of the Legion competition.
