Middlesex Township police distributing ice cream on June 27

The Middlesex Township Police Department will play the role of “ice cream man” on Saturday, June 27, as part of its first Ice Cream with the Cops, a community-building event.
Between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., police officers will patrol neighborhoods across the township and distribute free ice cream bars while playing the ice cream truck jingle in place of their usual sirens.
The police department is planning to hold additional ice cream distribution events at future dates to be announced at a later time.
