<B>Caleb Dodd</B>, son of David and Josie Dodd of Worthington, was recently chosen for membership in the Golden Key International Honour Society at Northeastern University.Apharmacy major, he is currently completing a co-op at Eckerd Drug in Kittanning.———

<B>Colby King</B>, son of William and Belinda King of Slippery Rock, has been chosen for membership to the Mortar Board honor society at Westminster College.He has also been chosen for membership in the Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honor society and was named to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.Asenior political science and individual interdisciplinary major, he is a graduate of Slippery Rock High School.———

<B>Douglas Gebhart</B>, son of Robert and Linda Gebhart of West Sunbury, has been named to the Distinguished Scholar's List for the fall semester at Montreat College.———

<B>Julie Ehrman</B>, daughter of Jerry and Cindy Ehrman of Butler, has been accepted to the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg for the fall 2006 term.Asenior at Butler High School, she plans to major in pre-education.Ehrman is a member of the basketball team at Butler High School and is the recipient of the Golden Tornado Sports Com Player of the Year Award.———

<B>Matthew Diehl</B> of Penn Township was recently inducted into the Cum Laude Society at Shady Side Academy.———

<B>Kimberly Lovetro,</B> daughter of Mark and Debbie Lovetro of Cranberry Township has been accepted to Gannon University for the fall 2006 semester.Asenior at Seneca Valley High School, she is the recipient of the Seneca Valley Scholastic Award and is active in softball and Key Club.Lovetro plans to pursue a degree in occupational therapy.———

<B>Marlowe Hill</B> of Butler, daughter of David Hill and Cindy McKnight, has been accepted to the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg for the fall, 2006 term.Asenior at Butler High School, she is a member of the student council and marching band.———

Two county students from St. Joseph High School received commendation at History Day at Heinz History Center recently.<B>Brianna Sullivan</B>, junior, of Butler was a member of the second place team in the Senior Group Performance category at the regional competition March 25.Her team's project, "Under the Whip," will represent the school at the state competition at Penn State University May 10 and 11.<B>James Eich, </B>junior, of Cabot was a member of the team wining the Eugene Levy Award for Best Local History for its project "Taking a Stand Against Black Stereotypes: Teenie Harris, The Pittsburgh Courier and Robert Lee Vann."———

<B>Kristan Kohley</B>, daughter of Phil and Melanie Kohley of Saxonburg, was recently awarded the Renaissance Scholarship Award from the Public Relations Society of America.A junior public relations major at Westminster College, Kohley has been named a Vance Distinguished Scholar recipient.At the college, she serves as director for the Public Relations Student Society of America; president of the Lambda Pi Eta National Communications Honor Society; a teaching assistant in the English and public relations departments; student director for the Westminster College Learning Center; and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Leadership Society.A2003 graduate of Knoch High School, Kohley has also designed a program plan for small businesses that is currently being used at Columbia University's Graduate School of Strategic Communication and has accepted a summer 2006 internship at Ketcham Public Relations in Pittsburgh.
