BUTLER TWP — The PA CareerLink of Butler County and the Butler County Chamber of Commerce host a job and career fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 21 at the Butler Days Inn.

In recent years, these job fairs have attracted more than 500 job seekers, ranging from those with GEDs to those with master's degrees. Participants are advised to take a resume or list of work and education experiences,.

Companies and educational institutions can still sign up to participate by calling the Butler County CareerLink at 724-431-4004.

The event is free to job seekers and no registration is necessary.

LYNDORA — The 14th annual Homebuyers Fair will be from 3 to 8 p.m. April 21 in Coleman Hall of the Tanglewood Center.Hosted by the Butler County Housing Authority, the fair offers information for people looking to buy their first home, with workshops throughout the evening. GROVE CITY — A free program on Marcellus Shale will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sticht Auditorium in the Hall of Arts and Letters at Grove City College.
