St. Barnabas Memory Care and the Pittsburgh Ballroom Dance group will host the Joy Through Dance recital Monday at the St. Barnabas Kean Theatre, Gibsonia.

For the past 10 weeks, volunteers from Pittsburgh Ballroom Dance have been teaching St. Barnabas residents with early stage dementia.

The St. Barnabas residents were learning how to do the cha-cha, rumba, waltz and other traditional ballroom dances. Pittsburgh Ballroom Dance volunteers worked closely with the residents to teach the dances and bring joy to the residents each week.
