Saxonburg firefighters responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident on Victory Road Sunday. The driver was taken to an area hospital after complaining of shoulder pain.

CLINTON TWP — Saxonburg firefighters had to cut the roof off a vehicle to remove the driver after it rolled over on Victory Road Sunday evening.

The vehicle was traveling south about 5:45 p.m. when it left the road, struck an embankment and rolled over, said Chris Ballina, chief of the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Department.

The driver was taken to an area hospital after complaining of a shoulder injury, he said.

“He's lucky,” Ballina said.

State police investigated the accident.
