Forward Township man accused of sexually abusing girl for about 6 years
A Forward Township man is accused of sexually abusing a girl from the time she was about 9 years old to age 15, according to state police.
James Boring Jr., 53, was charged Wednesday, Sept. 9, with one felony count each of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault and criminal solicitation and one misdemeanor count each of indecent exposure and corruption of minors following a Dec. 18 ChildLine report.
Police said the Dec. 18 report indicated Boring had inappropriately touched a girl on multiple occasions. Police interviewed the girl, now 16, on Dec. 30.
The girl said she would go over to Boring’s trailer after school while the other person who lived in the home was at work. She said Boring would touch her inappropriately and show his genitals to her.
Police said the girl would tell Boring to stop touching her and on some occasions he asked if he was hurting the girl. Boring also told the girl not to tell anyone about the touching, police said.
Boring’s preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled.
