The Butler County Community College board of trustees on Wednesday approved a three-year auditing services contract with Maher Duessel.

The contract covers the college and the BC3 Education Foundation.

For this year, the contract calls for BC3 to pay the firm $37,283 for the school audit and $9,800 for the foundation audit.

The fees increase to $38,215 and $10,045, respectively, in 2020 and to $39,170 and $10,296 respectively in 2021.

In unrelated business the trustees nominated officers for the 2019-20 fiscal year.

Joe Kubit was nominated to remain as chairman, William DiCuccio was nominated as vice chairman, Jennifer Pullar was nominated to remain secretary, and Scott McDowell was nominated to remain treasurer.

Kubit was vice chairman until the death of the late Ray Steffler, who served as chairman from 1999 until he died in February.

The trustees will vote on the slate of officers at their next meeting on June 19 at the campus in Cranberry Township.
