Butler’s eighth grade White boys basketball team improved to 10-1 on the season with a 38-24 win over Hampton recently.
Conner Ollio scored 20 points while Jacob Keene netted nine in the victory.
Earlier, Butler White placed third in the North Allegheny holiday tournament, defeating Fox Chapel, 46-30, after falling 59-35 to NA Carson.
Nicolas Kibbie scored 14 points and Ollio added 11 against Carson. Ollio netted 18, Jacob Kradel and Noah Beveridge 11 each against Fox Chapel.
Wrestling
Zack Dovenspike and Riley Burdine maintained their undefeated records Wednesday as the Butler Junior High wrestling team improved to 11-3 with a 64-20 victory at Knoch.
Dovenspike won by major decision, 9-1, at 138 pounds to improve to 12-0 on the year. Burdine recorded a pin at 210 to move to 11-0. Shane Culp at 130 and Saavon Mosby at 250 also earned pins for Butler.
Christian Sequete at 145 pounds and Logan Donnel at 85 won by decision for the Golden Tornado.
