2 injured in Tuesday crash in Cherry Township

Two people were transported to an area hospital after a crash Tuesday, Oct. 6, in Cherry Township, according to state police.

The crash occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 201 Grubb Road, according to Butler County Emergency Services dispatch.

A 15-year-old boy was trapped in his vehicle with back and leg injuries. Tools were requested to extricate him, according to dispatch recordings.

Dispatch also reported a 17-year-old boy with head and leg injuries.

Both boys were transported to AHN Grove City Hospital.

West Sunbury Volunteer Fire Department, Marion Township Volunteer Fire Company, Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team and AHN’s Advanced Life Support Squad also assisted.
