Armstrong announced Wednesday its existing and future customers will experience improved Wi-Fi thanks to its new hardware, according to the company.

The company launched Zoom Internet with Enhanced Wi-Fi, allowing customers a fast, reliable whole-home Wi-Fi experience controlled by the Plume app.

“We are very excited about this launch,” said Armstrong President Jeffrey Ross. “After over a year of research and testing, we are convinced we now have the very best Wi-Fi product available.”

Zoom with Enhanced Wi-Fi will now be part of the standard offering for new Internet customers.

The service also is immediately available as an upgrade to existing customers.

The new hardware is powered by cloud-based artificial intelligence, and the Plume app allows complete control of Internet experience from anywhere. It further provides personalized parental controls, real-time protection against cyber threats, guest access, ad blocking and more.

“Our customers have been asking for better Wi-Fi service,” said Dave Wittmann, vice president of marketing for the company. “We are confident that our new Enhanced Wi-Fi will exceed expectations.”
