A Butler County gun and sporting goods store has found a way to give back to local veterans.

To celebrate its one-year reopening anniversary, Chicora Sporting Goods in Chicora recently took a week’s worth of profit from the store and donated it back to VA Butler Healthcare’s Vets in Need program, raising $1,400.

Chicora Sporting Goods reached out to charitable local donors, including the Butler County Chamber of Commerce, that stepped up to support the cause by matching donations up to $500.
