Donovan, McFarland

Casey and Carrie McFarland

Carrie Donovan and Casey McFarland, both of San Fransisco, were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 1 at Grandview United Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh. The Rev. James Gordon officiated. A reception followed at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Nan Donovan of Saxonburg. Parents of the bridegroom are Randy and Mary Beth McFarland of Springfield, Ohio.

The honor attendant was Melissa Schoettker of Saxonburg. Bridesmaids included Lynn Hendricks of Alexandria, Va.; Alison Lawson of Springfield, Va.; and Caroline Milligan of Winchester, Va.

Performing the duties of best man was Kyle McFarland of Cole Valley, Ill. Ushers included Sean Donovan of Providence, R.I.; Stephen Gunstream of San Fransisco; and John Julow of Chicago.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2002 graduate of James Madison University. She works at the University of California Children's Hospital in San Francisco.

The bridegroom graduated in 1997 from Catholic Central High School and in 2001 from Northwestern University. He works at Applied Biosystems in Foster City, Calif.

Following a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica, the couple is making their home in San Francisco.
