McCarthy, Grimm
Megan McCarthy and Michael Grimm, of Pittsburgh, were united in marriage Sept. 26, at the bride’s parents’ home in Penn Township. Joseph Grimm Jr., brother of the groom, officiated. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Matt and Colleen McCarthy, of Penn Township. Parents of the bridegroom are Joseph and Celeste Grimm, of Slippery Rock.
The honor attendant was Samantha McCarthy, sister of the bride, of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Jamie Sheely, sister of the groom, of Pittsburgh, and Taylor Rapp, of Pittsburgh.
Performing the duties of best man was Evan Sheely, of Pittsburgh. Ushers included Jeremy Dolan, of Pittsburgh, and Tyler Kieffer, of Pittsburgh.
The bride is a 2016 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2020 graduate of Slippery Rock University.
She is employed as an operations manager at the Kamin Science Center in Pittsburgh.
The bridegroom graduated from City Charter High School in 2018, and from Slippery Rock University in 2022.
He is employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Pittsburgh.
Following a honeymoon trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is making their home in Pittsburgh.
