In-Synch president at Congress
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The president of a Zelienople business was to testify today at a Congressional hearing honoring small businesses and the vital role they play in reviving the economy.
Congressman Jason Altmire, D-4, said he invited Kirk Farra, president of In-Synch Systems to speak at the hearing this morning.
In-Synch Systems, which produces software for law enforcement officials, is one of the companies in Western Pennsylvania that will benefit from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, according to a statement issued by Altmire's office.
The legislation increased funding for the federal grants that many law enforcement agencies use to buy In-Synch System's technology, according to the statement.
Next month In-Synch expects to hire four additional people in its software development, testing and sales positions.
