Gregory Mason

Education: B.S. in Secondary Education, Physics, from Penn State; M. Ed. in School Leadership from University of Pittsburgh

Occupation: Physics teacher in Allegheny County

QUESTION: Why are you running for office?

MASON: During my time on the planning commission, I have stood up for all residents of the township by open-mindedly listening to their concerns. I am a rational and logical individual who will consider both sides of an issue and find an appropriate solution. Lastly, I will proactively communicate with county and state agencies on issues that affect our community.

QUESTION: What do you consider the pressing matters facing your municipality? How would you address them?

MASON: If elected, I would research options on how to save the township taxpayer money and make fiscally responsible decisions. The conditions of some of the roads are deplorable and need addressed swiftly. Lastly, the lack of transparency via the township website needs addressed and possibly include a video/audio feed of meetings in case individuals cannot attend.
