Kristen Hageman - license suspension
Hi Portia,
Just wanted to let you know I am Kristen's mom and I wanted to thank you for your support in her situation.
I have a letter submitted to the letters to the editor of the Butler Eagle, but they have yet to call and confirm it was me who submitted the letter. They tell me they are backlogged and will get to me after they 'edit'.
Anyway, if you can get into the archives of the Butler Eagle, check out the 04-15-05 letters to the editor. There is a letter there from Autumn Maire whereby she had applied for welfare. Kind of like calling the kettle black wouldn't you say?
My daughter is losing 400-600 a month by not being able to work anything other than weekends. Plus who likes to work just weekends especially when nice weather is coming? The weekends are the only time she can depend on rides to get to work.
Funny thing, after she went to obtain a copy of her driving record, there is something in there where it says the charge was 'cancelled' so she most likely shouldn't have been suspended in the first place. She has paid $2000 to retain a supposedly good attorney who deals in these situations all the time. Most likely she wouldn't have been able to straighten things out in Harrisburg as they should be, so we'll let the attorney handle that.
We are hoping the $2000 pays for itself in the effect that her insurance should be reduced. She pays through the nose right now...
Thanks again for your support. I'd like to find out if anyone else out there has had trouble with Officer Brown (City) in the past or DJ Shaffer - if this is something they are in liason with or what....
