William A. Betush
William A. Betush, 74, of West Deer Township died Sunday at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Born Dec. 6, 1932, in Indiana Township, he was the son of Michael and Mary Betush.
He had been a self-employed builder for 50 years.
He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a life member of the West Deer Volunteer Fire Department No. 1.
He enjoyed bowling and playing cards.
He is survived by three sons, Larry Betush of Myrtle Beach, S.C., David (Lee) Betush of West Deer Township and Charles Betush of East Deer; a daughter, Shari (Vince) Sorce of Jefferson Township; grandchildren, Nikki (Duane) Litzan, Samantha A., Jeremy, Suzan and Matthew Betush, Chad (Jackie) Neely, Amy Neely and Jacob Neely; great-grandchildren, Stella, Vaughn and Nathan; and a sister, Helen Hudecek of Richland Township.
He was preceded in death by a brother, George Betush, and a sister, Margaret Gaydos.

Betush, who died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 p.m. to the time of the service Thursday at the <B>Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home</B>, Starr Road, Russellton.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard E. Wise, pastor of Deer Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, officiating.
