Alberta C. "Birdie" Brown, 93, of Karns City died at 10 p.m. Tuesday at the Sunnyview Home.

Born April 15, 1913, in Washington Township, she was the daughter of James Porter Campbell and Blanche E. Blair Campbell.

She was a homemaker and a member of the North Washington Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a brother, Harold Campbell of Boydstown, and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claire Brown, who died May 28, 2006, and two brothers.

<B>BROWN</B> — Friends of Alberta C. "Birdie" Brown, who died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Mathias, her church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the North Washington Cemetery.
