CLAY TWP — A one-vehicle accident happened about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at 634 Euclid Road.

A man thought to be in his 30s was driving an SUV around an “S” cure when he lost control of the vehicle, went off the road, over corrected, swerved back over the yellow line and went off the road. The vehicle rolled one time and stopped against a utility pole.

“Speed is believed to be a factor in this accident,” said West Sunbury Fire Chief Reid Campbell.

The driver, who was walking around when volunteer firefighters arrived, had minor cuts to his head, face and arms. He was taken by Butler Ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital.
