Frances T. Jordan McClain, 90, of Hermitage died at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Living Center, Grove City.

Born Jan. 15, 1917, in Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Ralph W. and Katherine Amy Lehner Jordan.

She was a homemaker. She had been a missionary in Haiti with the Independent Gospel Mission for 30 years.

Mrs. McClain was a member of the New Fellowship Baptist Church of Charleston, Pa.

Surviving are three sons, Daniel B. McClain of Erie, Timothy L. McClain of Hermitage and Joel K. McClain of Sharon; two brothers, the Rev. Harry E. Jordan of Leechburg and the Rev. Glenn R. Jordan of Berea, Ky.; and a sister, Pauline Callen of Battle Creek, Mich. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Her husband, the Rev. Elmer Bea McClain, whom she married Oct. 20, 1939, died Feb. 21, 1994. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee G. Jordan and Albert Martin Jordan; and a sister, Madelen Spithaler.

Cunningham Funeral Home</B>, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. Services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
