Donald F. Mars Jr., 35, of Harmony died Friday at his home.

Born Dec. 30, 1971, in McCandless Township, he was the son of Donald F. and Cheryl A. Maczon Mars Sr. of Zelienople.

He was an avid bodybuilder, football player, hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Mars was a 1991 graduate of the Seneca Valley High School and played football for Seneca Valley and Gannon University.

He was a collector of military memorabilia.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kristen Mars; a daughter, Chelsea Lynn Mars of Evans City; a brother, Nicholas C. Mars and his wife, Amy, of Rochester; his maternal grandmother, Margaret Maczon of Zelienople; his paternal grandmother, Virginia Mars of Cranberry Township; an uncle, Jeff Mars of Cranberry Township; four aunts, Janice, Leslie, Susan and Wendy; and a great-uncle, Gilbert Mars of Pittsburgh. He also is survived by his former wife, Melissa S. Mars of Evans City.

<B>MARS </B>— Friends of Donald F. Mars Jr., who died Friday, April 27, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St., Evans City, with the Rev. David Saylor, church pastor, officiating.
