Kottraba

Dale E. Kottraba, 72, of Springfield Court, Renfrew, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.

Born June 28, 1934, in Butler, he was the son of Milo D. and Dorothy Bausman Kottraba.

He was a member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church in Zelienople.

Mr. Kottraba had been a pilot for US Airways and retired in 1991. He was a member of the Soaring Eagles and the Airline Pilots Association.

He was an Army veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Kathryn E. Kottraba; a son, Daniel R. Kottraba and his wife, Sharon, of Richmond, Va.; and two grandchildren, Nate and Emily Kottraba.
