Ralston

William John Ralston Jr., 61, of Hilliards died Friday morning at the Autumn Grove Nursing Home, Harrisville, after a long illness.

Born Oct. 25, 1945, in Kittanning, he was the son of the late William J. and Beverly Crawford Ralston.

Mr. Ralston was employed at the Office of Personnel Management in Boyers until his retirement due to illness.

He attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Old Annandale.

He enjoyed golfing and bowling and was an avid sports fan.

He married Gwendolyn Ann Heckethorn Aug. 15, 1970. She survives along with a son, Elliot Tyler Ralston of Hilliards; a brother, James D. Ralston of Dallas, Texas; and his mother-in-law, Gwen Heckethorn of Hilliards.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Loenard Heckethorn.

<B>RALSTON </B>— Friends of William John Ralston Jr., who died Friday, June 22, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday in the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, Main Street, West Sunbury. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Warinner officiating. Burial will follow at St. Petersburg Cemetery, Clarion County.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society for research.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>William N.
