Burton F. Laderer, 63, of Davis Lane, Slippery Rock Township, died at 7:25 a.m. Tuesday at Orchard Manor, Grove City.

Born in New Castle, March 15, 1944, he was the son of the late Paul Fredrick Laderer and Lena Gertrude Wallace.

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a welder at Universal in Zelienople prior to his disability in the early 1980s.

Mr. Laderer was a member of the Branchton United Methodist Church.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and as a young man he enjoyed roller skating. He also enjoyed boating and gardening.

Surviving are his wife, Delores R. Boosel Laderer, whom he married Oct. 14, 1967; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven B. and Chrissie Laderer of Harrisville; daughter and son-in-law, Janet L. and Todd Kreutz of Slippery Rock; and four grandchildren, Trent and Wolfgang Kreutz, Frankie Bennett and Gabrielle Laderer.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Paul B. Laderer.

Laderer, who died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Branchton United Methodist Church, 490 Branchton Road, Slippery Rock. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. David Ealy, pastor of St. John's United Methodist Church of Halston, officiating.
