Marilyn Flint
Marilyn G. Flint, 91, of Evans City, passed away peacefully Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026.
Born Feb. 5, 1935, in Crawford County, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Ruth (Williams) Rodgers.
Marilyn was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Evans City and served on session and sang in the choir for over 30 years. She graduated from high school at the age of 17. She worked at Voyager Hotel, in Franklin, Pa., as a bookkeeper, Joy Manufacturing in the accounting department, and finally, Montgomery Ward, where she retired as a service call dispatcher. After retirement, she worked as a childcare provider for numerous families. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Kevin (Lilianna) Finch; her stepchildren, Bonnie (Doug) Ritzert, Audry Oliastro, Daniel Flint and Darrel (Sheila) Flint; her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; stepgrandchildren; and stepgreat-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Willie H. Flint; her stepgrandson, Jason Ritzert; and stepgreat-grandson, Austin Flint.
FLINT — Friends and family of Marilyn G. Flint, who died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.
She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Burial Estates in Butler.
