George Pozgaj

George Pozgaj, 77, of New Brighton died Sunday at The Medical Center in Beaver.

Born June 23, 1930, in Rochester, he was the son of August and Mary Yurcak Pozgaj.

He retired from the former Roso-Lite in Zelienople and was a member of the Zelienople Hungarian Club and American Legion Post 474.

Surviving are a sister, Helen Snyder of Monaca; two nieces, Joyce M. Reed of Phoenix, and Marcy L. Moore and her husband, Tedd, of Las Vegas; two best friends, George Freshkorn and Eddie Morris, both of Zelienople; and numerous cousins, great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Augustine "Auggie" Pozgaj, Steve Pozgaj and Thomas Yurasich.

<B>Pozgaj — </B>Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services</B>, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A Blessing Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating.
