Elder

Snow V. Elder, 104, formerly of New Castle Street, Butler, died Saturday at Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville.

Born Aug. 5, 1903, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hedges Davis.

Mrs. Elder had been a resident for 12 years at Autumn Grove. She enjoyed playing the banjo and crocheting.

Surviving are her son, H. Paul Elder, Jr., of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Elder was preceded in death by her husband, H. Paul Elder, who died March 24, 1985; four sons; and a number of brothers and sisters.

<B>ELDER — </B>Friends of Snow V. Elder, who died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, will be received from noon until the time of services at 2 p.m. Friday at the <B>YOUNGFUNERALHOME, </B>Butler, with the Rev. Wayne Bell of the West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church officiating.Interment will be at the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
