Nichol

Judy E. Nichol, 83, of Chicora Medical Center, formerly of Bradys Bend, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, at Butler Memorial Hospital, after a period of declining health.

Born Nov. 13, 1942, in Bradys Bend, she was the daughter of Jesse I. and Margaret E. (Olcus) Nichol.

Judy was a 1960 graduate of East Brady High School and spent her career at Big River Sewing Factory in Kittanning.

She was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Church.

She enjoyed working around her yard, bird watching, puzzles and the company of her cats.

Surviving are two nieces, Julie L. Cranmer, of Karns City, and Crystal A. Zedreck (Edward), of Chicora; and one aunt, Catherine Downing, of Bradys Bend. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother and sister-in-law, Herbert “Skip” and Frances Nichol.

NICHOL — A Mass of Christian burial for Judy E. Nichol, who died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Bradys Bend, with the Rev. Alan Grote officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary Cemetery, 915 Route 68, East Brady, PA 16028.
