Michael A. Ferrari
Michael A. Ferrari, 72, of Evans City, died Monday at UPMC Cranberry Place.
Born Feb. 25, 1935, in Butler, he was the son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Bak Ferrari.
Mr. Ferrari was a former member of St. Matthias Catholic Church in Evans City.
He retired from the U.S. Army in 1985 and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Sarver Ferrari, whom he married Dec. 28, 1985; four daughters, Patricia Nanchuk of Butler, Cheryl Palermo and her husband, Ronald, of Butler, Diana Ferrari of Cranberry Township and Karen Ferrari of Arizona; two stepdaughters, Trista Weir and her husband Michael of Coraopolis, and Tara Glaspey and her husband, Mark, of North Carolina; two sisters, Janet Evans of Butler and Betty Stanko of Colorado; and two grandchildren, Angelina Rose Palermo and Morgan Weir.
<B>FERRARI — </B>Friends of Michael A. Ferrari, who died Dec. 24, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, </B>116 E. Main St., Evans City. Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Saylor, pastor of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evans City, officiating.
