Victor R. Appleman
Victor R. Appleman, 48, of Clarion, formerly of Williamsburg, died Friday morning in Clarion of an apparent heart attack.
Born in Altoona, he was the son of Clarence L. and Helena J. Gates Appleman.
He married DeRonda Snow Sept. 8, 1990, in Prospect.
Mr. Appleman was previously employed at Lutherlyn camp in Franklin Township, G.A. Industries and Greco Welding.
He was affiliated with the First English Lutheran Church in Butler, and he enjoyed music, camping, outdoor activities and the culinary arts.
A 1977 graduate of Williamsburg High School, he served as an electrician in the Navy from 1977 to 1980 on the USS Saratoga.
Surviving are his wife; two children, Jeremy J. Appleman and Ashley R. Appleman, both of Kittanning; three grandchildren; a sister, Gwendolyn Patierno of Lake Katrine, N.Y.; and a brother, Vincent "Pepper" Appleman of Lower Burrell.
<B>APPLEMAN</B> — There will be no viewing for Victor R. Appleman, who died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007. Apublic graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Williamsburg. The Rev. Myron R. Jones will officiate. Burial will follow. Arrangements are by <B>Bolger Funeral Home</B> in Williamsburg.
