Clara L. "Bo" Herr

Clara L. "Bo" Herr, 59, of Forestville died at 5:45 a.m. Friday at the Grove City Medical Center after a 4½-year illness.

She was born in Grove City on July 21, 1948, the daughter of Mary B. Bucciarelli Barbella and the late Albert J. Barbella.

Mrs. Herr was a 1966 graduate of Moniteau High School. She retired in 2005 after 30 years as a claims specialist with OPM of Boyers.

She was a member of the Church of the beloved Disciple in Grove City, and enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, being a homemaker and playing trivia. Mrs. Herr was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and had earned her second degree black belt in karate and she participated tae kwon do. She was very patriotic and enjoyed spending time with her cats.

Mrs. Herr is survived by her husband, Dayne W. Herr Sr., who she married on Aug. 10, 1971; two sons, Dayne W. Herr Jr., and Aaron A. Herr, both of Harrisville, and her mother.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Albert "AJ" Barbella.

<B>HERR</B> — Friends of Clara L. "Bo" Herr, who died Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>JAMISON FUNERAL HOME</B>, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. Funeral liturgy will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Hoffman, pastor of the Church of the Beloved Disciple, officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.Memorial contributions may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, 14 Penn Plaza, Suite 1400, New York, N.Y. 10122.
