Marian L. Garber

Marian L. Garber, 85, of Santa Barbara, Calif., died at 3:45 p.m. Monday at the Samarcan Retirement Village.

Born April 29, 1922, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Herman and Rose Sheingold Langsner.

Mrs. Garber was a homemaker and a life member of Hadassah.

She is survived by four sons, Larry Garber of Gibsonia, Harvey Garber of Cathedral City, Calif., Dr. David Garber of Ojai, Calif., and Robert Garber of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Saul Bookie Garber, whom she married Aug. 11, 1946, died Dec. 19, 1975.

<B>GARBER </B>— Graveside services for Marian L. Garber, who died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the B'nai Abraham Cemetery with Rabbi Art Donsky of Temple Ohav Shalom officiating.Contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, and information and a private guest book are available at www.thompson-miller.com.
