James R. Widenhofer
James Robert Widenhofer, 48, of Parker died Friday evening of injuries received in an automobile accident on Route 38 in Concord Township.
Born in Wiltshire, England March 2, 1959, he was the son of the late Raymond E. and Carolyn A. Black Widenhofer.
He was a Christian.
Mr. Widenhofer served in the U.S. Navy and was discharged with the grade of E-4 on Feb. 1, 1985.
He was both a union and independent bricklayer most of his adult life.
Surviving are his wife, Raewyn Anthony Widenhofer, whom he married March 26, 1983; two children, Angela Jane and James Andrew Champion, both of New Zealand; seven sisters, Patty Lou Geibel of Slippery Rock, Carol Widenhofer-Ransbotham of Tucson, Ariz., Pamela Kellerhals of Cleveland, Tenn., Sharon Travaglio of Norfolk, Va., Theresa Wedlake of Port Matilda, Centre County, Mary Bare of Virginia Beach, Va., and Kimberly Paley of Boalsburg, Centre County; four brothers, Raymond "Duke" Widenhofer of Hollywood, Fla., John C. Widenhofer of Oslo, Norway, Michael Widenhofer of Hyattsville, Md., and Eugene "Gene" Widenhofer of Shaker Heights, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
