Shuler

Susan L. Shuler, 79, of Butler, passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2026.

She was born in Butler on Feb. 13, 1947, the daughter of the late Ray and Marjorie (Payne) Hindman.

Susan graduated from Butler High School in 1965. She worked at Western Auto, then First Seneca Bank and at Boscov’s.

In her free time, she enjoyed golfing, reading and gardening.

Susan was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Shuler, whom she married May 5, 1967; mother of Kelly (Eric) Huba; grandmother of Kaylee (Jeremy) Welter and Khloe Huba; and sister of Larry (Shirley) Hindman.

Along with her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; her grandsons, Kameron Shuler and Kaeden Huba; and her sister, Rebecca Campbell.

SHULER — All services for Susan L. Shuler, who died Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
