Kathryn Elizabeth Elliott, 69, of Slippery Rock died at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Orchard Manor, Grove City, following an extended illness.

Born in New Castle, Oct. 13, 1939, she was a daughter of Detlef Ebert Seeger and Evelyn Eberts.

She married William Marshall Elliott on June 10, 1961, and he survives at the residence.

Kathryn was a graduate of New Castle High School Class of 1957. She later worked for the Pennsylvania Power Co. in New Castle as a secretary until her retirement in 1993.

She was a member and former trustee of Center Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock.

She greatly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bridge and had been a member of two bridge clubs in the Slippery Rock area.

She is survived by her husband, William M. "Bill" Elliott Sr. of Slippery Rock; a son, William M. Elliott Jr. and his wife, Kelly, of Cranberry Township; three daughters, Kay Ann Cirillo of Slippery Rock, Rae Lin Howard and her husband, J.P., of Grove City and Kara Su Elliott of Slippery Rock; a sister, Carol Stole and her husband, William, of New Castle; and a brother, Detlef Ebert Seeger Jr. of New Castle. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Joseph "Joey" M. Cirillo Jr., Caroline C. Cirillo, Charles "Chas" W. Elliott, Laura M. Elliott, Ashton M. Howard and Ainsley E. Howard.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

<B>ELLIOTT </B>— Friends of Kathryn Elizabeth Elliott, who died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, Slippery Rock. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Boos, interim pastor of Center Presbyterian Church, officiating.
