John P. Alexia
John P. Alexia, 55, of Gibsonia died Wednesday at the UPMC Passavant Hospital.
Born Aug. 3, 1951, in Butler, he was the son of John F. Alexia Jr. and the late Shirley Mae Graham Alexia Oslin.
He was a driver for Durham School Services.
Mr. Alexia was a Steelers fanatic and enjoyed all kinds of sports.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Cathi) Spears of Tarentum and Mrs. Lawrence (Charlene) Kurpakus of Mars; his father of Gibsonia; his grandmother, Clara Jones of Wildwood; two brothers, David (Linda) Alexia of Florida and Andrew Alexia of Middlesex Township; and three sisters, Jeanne (Robert) Dickison of Butler, Kimberly Alexia of Gibsonia and Shirlee (Harry) Maxwell of Bakerstown.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Jessie and Matthew Spears and Anna and Evan Kurpakus.
Preceding him in death was a sister, Teresa Ann Alexia Smyth.
<B>ALEXIA</B> — There will be no visitation. A memorial service for John P. Alexia, who died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W.
