Stuebing

Warren F. Stuebing, 87, of Gainesville, Fla., passed away April 22.

He was born June 18, 1922, in East Orange, N.J.

Warren moved to Gainesville, Fla., in 1985 from Butler after being employed as an industrial engineer for 36 years.

He was a graduate of Mercersburg Academy in 1941 and of Penn State in 1946.

During World War II, Warren was an aeronautical navigator for the U.S. Army Air Corps.

He enjoyed gardening, golfing and spending time with his dog, Dolly.

Mr. Stuebing is survived by his former wife, Eloise R. Stuebing of Butler; a son, Alex F. Stuebing of Tampa, Fla.; daughters, Melanie A. McGhee of Granville, Ohio, Patricia J. Dentino of Cave Creek, Ariz., and Jennifer Stuebing of Butler; and four loving grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jane Berger; and friend, Lelia H. Dyche.
