Weigel

Fred Edward Weigel, 83, of Palm Harbor, Fla., passed away Tuesday.

He was born in Harmony, Sept. 29, 1926, the son of Fred Ellsworth Weigel and Estelle Kristophel Weigel.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Marian Johnston Weigel. He was predeceased by his daughter, Beth Weigel Grawburg, but he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Linda (Clemens) Weigel of Mechanicsburg; a son-in-law, Larry Grawburg of Mount Pleasant, Mich.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Fred lived in Zelienople, where he was a former officer of the Zelienople Library Board and retired as vice president of the Dollar Savings Bank, Pittsburgh.

He and his wife moved to Palm Harbor in 1984, where he was an officer and 25-year member of the Palm Harbor Crystallaires Barbershop Chapter.
