Timothy Allen Holmes, 50, of Fenelton died Monday in Fenelton.

Born Oct. 30, 1959, in Kittanning, he was a son of Charles A. Holmes and Barbara L. (Mileski) Kilgore.

He worked for Dollar General and at Friedman's Supermarket in Butler.

He was a member of Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, being with family, gardening, playing horseshoes, cooking, going to the Mahaffey Church Camp, walking, and golfing with his sisters. He got joy out of seeing his nieces and nephews and his cat, Tigger.

Survivors include his father of Butler; his mother of Ford City; a brother, Scott Holmes of Butler; sisters, Debra McPherson and her husband, John, of Dayton, Brenda Kunst and her husband, John, of Kittanning and Laura (Bowser) Pore and her husband, Steve, of Ford City and Ashley Holmes and Amanda Holmes, both of Butler; and nieces and nephews, John McPherson Jr., Taylor McPherson, John Brody Kunst, Cameron Kunst, Drew Pore, Emily Pore and Madison Pore.

Timothy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Margaret Holmes; his maternal grandparents, Alex and Pearl Mileski; nephews, Zachary Holmes and Kurt Holmes; and his uncle, Wallace Holmes.

<B>HOLMES</B> — Friends of Timothy Allen Holmes, who died Monday, May 24, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at <B>F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME</B> in Worthington. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Lynn officiating.
