New senior center, aging, veterans building opening soon
From 3-6 p.m. on Aug. 27 an open house is scheduled for a renovated building at 215 N. Duffy Road in Butler Township housing the new Butler Senior Center, Butler County Area Agency on Aging office and Veterans Resource Center. The open house will precede the Sept. 1 opening of the senior center, county officials said at Wednesday’s county commissioners meeting.
