A Center Township man is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol during a rollover crash Thursday, Sept. 24, on Center Avenue in Butler, according to Butler police.

Trevor Gene Fockler, 55, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after the crash near Center and Ziegler avenues.

Police said they arrived to find a Subaru lying on its roof beside a Hyundai with damage to its driver’s side quarter panel. A nurse had stopped and pulled Fockler — who was not wearing a seat belt — and another man from the vehicle.

Police said Fockler showed signs of impairment and admitted to having “a couple” drinks.

Fockler’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Nov. 9 before District Judge William Fullerton.
